Red Bull Hardline is back for its eighth edition and has strengthened its status as one of the toughest downhill mountain bike races in the world. This year’s course is a brutal part-downhill, part-freeride track set in the heart of Wales’s Dyfi Valley – which should make this year’s event the hardest yet. It’s been a huge few days in Wales for practice and first hits at Red Bull Hardline. There’s been some big crashes with George Brannigan having a heavy crash leading to a broken collar bone and putting him on the sidelines for the event, Bernard Kerr managed to walk away from a big crash in practice and there’s been some other testing of the dirt by a few riders.
