It was Fox Superflow racing at it’s best, the last race of the Queensland series went down at the Eastern Escarpment, Mt Cotton on the weekend. 325 racers strapped on a race plate and hit the trails at Mt Cotton for one of the best events of the Fox Superflow Series for 2022. Here’s what went down……
The trails at Mt Cotton are some of the best trails in Brisbane and they are also some of the most popular. So it was no surprise that the race on the weekend drew over 320 riders to the event over the two days. These are numbers that we’re seeing sky rocket as the Fox Superflow format is being embraced by South East Queensland.
Rocky Trail Entertainment had heeded the advice and feedback of riders this year and made some late changes to the stages to make the most of the gradient and flow available at the Eastern Escarpment. Three stages were selected for the riders to ride up to 5 times each and post their fastest time towards their overall time.
The stages for the day included Shenanigans, Escalade (down) into Powerful Howl and Escalade into Metamorphic. A great selection for the event and it allowed riders of all levels to punch it out against the clock with their mates. The race atmosphere was all time as usual and there were no shortage of grins on the faces of the riders.
