The Rocky Trail Entertainment Fox Superflow team headed North to Mackay on the weekend and the trails of Rowallan Park. With nothing but sunshine and smiles beating down on the trails it couldn’t have been better conditions to strap on a race plate. Just over 80 riders hit the trails over the weekend and here’s the race results….
It was the first Fox Superflow that allowed your timing chip to be live on both days, meaning you could race your maximum of 5 runs on each stage over the entire weekend. This is something that is a welcome addition to the Fox Superflow events in Queensland, particularly those that involve a road trip for most riders.
Just over 80 riders got between the tape for the most regional of the Queensland series and riders of all ages strapped on a race plate to race the way they ride. The stages were a little mellower than usual but the restitching of some of the trails made for some exciting racing. Overall it seemed to be another great event and it’s good to see the series reaching out to the regional locations.
