The 2022 UCI DH World Cup season continues this week at Leogang, Austria for the third round of the year. Last year saw a wet track at Leogang and some wild times with Troy Brosnan and Camille Balanche taking the top step ahead of a super fast field. Who will come out on top this year? Here’s the details and the live broadcast times….

This year’s UCI DH World Cup season has been a hot one, one that has not had any shortage of action with a super deep field in both the Men’s and Women’s categories. Will Amuary Pierron continue his undefeated reign of 2022? Will Camille Balanche take the win in the Women or will Nina Hoffmann continue her form?
There is no doubt we will see some awesome racing and the Frenchies will definitely be filling a fair portion of the podium but will Troy Brosnan back up last year’s win with a return from injury victory. There are at least ten guys in the Elite Men’s field that can take the win in Leogang and we should never forget that Aaron Gwin won here chainless in 2015 and still holds the most wins here.

The Women’s field could see one of maybe five Women take the win and there’s speculation that Rachel Atherton may be back on the start line – time will tell if this comes to fruition. Camille Balanche has won here the last two years in a row and there’s little doubt she may well be the favourite, but favourites don’t always grace the top step and Marine Cabirou, Tahnee Seagrave and Nina Hoffmann may have something to say about that.

Whoever takes the top step at Leogang will have to battle a deep field and provide a near flawless run, something all of us will be tuning in to see. So clear your schedule, order a Pizza and stock the fridge with beer cause World cup racing is back this weekend on Red Bull TV.
