This week we head out to Nerang for the first round of the Queensland Fox Superflow Series 2022 after wet weather led to the postponement of the Toowoomba round. It’s a super popular place to race enduro and Nerang will draw a large crowd of racers to get between the tape with their mates in the relaxed racing format. Let’s take a look at the details…..
Fox Superflow Queensland Series 2022 | Round 1
May 28 & 29 | Nerang National Park
RACE ENTRY HERE
Nerang is home to a popular trail network and has been steeped in the history of mountain bike racing in Queensland. It’s home to the Commonwealth games XC track and has hosted many a gravity enduro in it’s time. Just a short hop from the beaches of the Gold Coast and only an hour away from Brisbane, it’ll be a great spot to start the series.
Whilst the weather has been constantly wet it looks like it’s easing off a bit and the race is set to go ahead with sunny weather predicted for the Saturday and Sunday.

Race the way you ride
Fox Superflow is a format that allows us all to enjoy the challenges of race day without all the stress. A relaxed format that allows up to five runs on each stage with the fastest time counting towards your overall time, the lowest time wins the category. The relaxed race format means you can run trains with your mates or pin it solo for the win, doesn’t matter how pro you are, you can race the way you ride.
Whilst the season start seems to keep getting pushed out for all the Queensland race series, it looks like we may well have a start for the Fox Superflow Queensland at Nerang. It will be a course that will demand fitness and suit those with plenty of legs but as always the Nerang round will prove super popular. Brakes Wide Open will be there between the tape to bring you the action……
