Fox Superflow Mt Taylor, VIC | This Weekend

The fourth round of the Victorian Fox Superflow series is heading to Mt Taylor this weekend and another chance for Victorian racers to get between the tape with the Pro Stage addition to this race. The first three rounds of the series has seen big numbers attending and there’s little doubt that this round will be any different. Let’s take a look at the details…..

Event: Rocky Trail Fox Superflow Victoria Race 4

30 April & 1 May (Racing on either day)


Mt Taylor MTB Park plays host to the fourth round of the Victorian series and is home to a great network of trails. It’s located approximately 15km North of Bairnsdale, 275km East of Melbourne. There’s free camping on site and all the usual Rocky Trail amenities to keep you comfy and racing with a smile.



The trails at Mt Taylor are a mix of gravity fed trails with an etch of flow, well suited to the Fox superflow racing format and guaranteed to leave a smile on the riders faces. The downhill trail at Mt Taylor will play host to the Pro Stage and will keep the riders on their toes with the brakes wide open.


The “All Mountain Trail” from Goodes Track has some serious flow. Length 2.0km Vertical 150m.


“The Flow” shares a start with FOX and you will enjoy the variety. Length 1.7km Vertical 150m.


The new extension of the tip run is fast being called “Gabes track”. Skipping the “Loosen Up” but starting on Goodes Rd and hitting “Time to Drop” and the “Tip Run” to finish in the event hub. Length 1.9km Vertical 150m


The well renowned “Downhill” at Mt Taylor will please. At the convergence with FOX track MAXXIS will break right, cross the road and hit the descent of “Southern Cross” to finish in the Event Hub. Length 2.1km Vertical 260m

Transition: To be used as Liaison are “The Big Emu” Milkies Track and Lookout Road.

The Final Word

It’s yet another reason to get between the tape with your mates and strap on a race plate. There’s little doubt that the superflow format has been popular across the nation and the relaxed racing format means you can really relax and just have fun whilst pushing your limits against the clock. Mt Taylor will play host to another great round in Victoria and the first Pro Stage race for the year, another great addition to the fox superflow format.
