It was an epic affair that saw some super fast racing down the gnarliest streets of Paraiso, Chile. It took a few scalps and Bernard Kerr was unable to race following a crash in practice, Tomas Slavik raced to second place with a broken finger also sustained during a crash in practice.
Tomas Slavik was looking fastest until the last man down the hill Pedro Ferreira took to the streets and managed to topple him off the top step by four hundredths of a second. It was nail bitingly tight racing and definitely a great way to kick off the racing calendar.
