4 September – Eastern Escarpment (West Mt Cotton)
West Mt Cotton or the Eastern Escarpment has become one of the most popular locations for mountain biking in Brisbane and there’s a good reason why – blockbuster trails built by Trailworx. The Fox Superflow series is heading to West Mt Cotton for the next round of the popular race format and it looks set to be a blockbuster race.
The stages will include:
- Powerful Howl
25 September – Ipswich (Castle Hill)
The Castle Hill race has been rescheduled and it looks set to be another great round. The stages for the race have not yet been set but the 2020 stages included Rowies, World Cup, Phils and Inca. There has been some recent work on the trails at Ipswich and they should be running sweet. Rego is not yet open but we will keep you up to date.
9 October – Mt Joyce
The last round of the 2021 Fox Superflow Queensland Series heads out to Mt Joyce and the trails that have been home to gravity racing in Queensland for some time. Last year’s race took on some of the easier and more pedal-friendly trails for the stages, but we are told that there may be some more interesting inclusions this year. As usual we will keep you up to date with the details and we’ll see you between the tape.
The new changes to the Fox Superflow schedule look great and the inclusion of West Mt Cotton (Eastern Escarpment) will be a welcome addition and will likely draw huge numbers. We will be bringing you a course preview in the next few weeks and if you haven’t checked the trails out there then get out there. Fox Superflow racing is a great format and the only format you truly get to race the way you ride, with your mates between the tape.
