With an already amazing Gravity calendar in the South East corner of Queensland for 2019 we thought things could not get any better, that is until Straight to Hell Inc announced a club Enduro being held at their Canungra compound. Known for it’s super steep and technical terrain, Canungra looks set to be a gnarly event with some epic riding.
Details are still be confirmed but it looks set to be held on September 1, a date that doesn’t clash with the current race schedule. A modified format will see continuous shuttles taking riders up the steepest part of the hill, with pedal power being used for the remaining climb. Five stages will likely be used consisting of the majority of the trail network, with no shortage of steeps, features and outright gnar.
